One-on-Five Meetings

In one-on-five meetings, leading scholars will host round-table discussions with five graduate students. The meetings are designed to give students the opportunity to interact with leading scholars in the hospitality and tourism field and discuss their research projects, the scholar’s interests, future careers, educational plans, and other topics of interest, and will give graduate students the opportunity to interact with peers with similar research interests.

Each session will last sixty minutes. To make the most of the limited time, students and scholars will share research interests and specific questions prior to the meeting.

Submission Process

The application submission should include the following TWO documents as a single electronic word document:

  1. One-page CV with contact information (email, phone, fax and mailing address)
  2. One-page research overview that would include the following:

a. A ½ page statement of research interests

b. A ½ page describing a current project or thesis/dissertation

Submit the above two documents as a single file no later than October 26th, 2009.
