Support the Hospitality Hall of Honor
The seeds for the Hospitality Industry Hall of Honor were planted in the fall of 1995. On September 25, 1996, the newly established Hall of Honor inducted Conrad N. Hilton, Kemmons Wilson, J. Willard Marriott and Vernon Stouffer as its first honorees at a gala ceremony attended by more than 350 people in the Conrad Hilton Ballroom of the Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management. Wilson, 73, attended the induction ceremony, while Hilton, Marriott and Stouffer were honored posthumously.
Since 1996, more than 40 hospitality industry leaders have joined this inaugural group. The Hall of Honor motto—Education through Leadership—is alive and well through the examples showcased here.
To ensure that the Hospitality Industry Hall of Honor remains an appropriate tribute to those who have contributed so much to our industry, we are asking for your support. The Hall of Honor relies on both industry related and individual support for its ongoing activities, displays and development of the permanent facility. Please consider making a tax-deductible contribution or an archival donation to the Hospitality Industry Archives. There are many options for giving and should you wish to discuss them, we welcome your questions.
