The Conrad N. Hilton Library
Housed within the South Wing of the College, the Conrad N. Hilton Library & Archives was built in 1989 through a grant from the Hilton Foundation. The Library offers a non-circulating collection of more than 12,000 hospitality industry resources and references. Books, magazines, journals, audiovisual sources, corporate communications, graduate papers and online databases address a number of hospitality areas of interest, including:
Searchable lists of book holdings and periodical titles illustrate the materials our students benefit from. Students and faculty can even access hospitality-specific electronic collections from off campus. Users must first log in with their CougarNet username and CougarNet password. Television monitors are available for viewing courses, the Dean's Distinguished Lecture Series and other hospitality industry-related audiovisual recordings. Computers are available for accessing the University of Houston’s M.D. Anderson Library electronic databases. A copy machine is available; copies are 10 cents per page. Visit the LibraryThe Library (and Archives) is located on the second floor of the Conrad N. Hilton College in the South Wing, Room S-210. Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. (The summer hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday thru Thursday, and the hours are 8 a.m. to 12a.m.on Friday). It is closed on weekends and during campus holidays.
