A Message from Dean Bowen

Welcome to your new website, the result of nearly a year's worth of research and design. As we reflected on the strengths of our program, most notably our student body, we were inspired to create a web presence that better served you with the tools and resources to make the most of your time at the Hilton College. We hope you like it.

As you look through the site, take note of the many opportunities for student involvement. Events like Gourmet Night and Hall of Honor are unique to Hilton College and give you the chance to develop leadership skills, interpersonal skills and a close network of peers — and future colleagues. Consider our student organizations to explore your area of interest and make invaluable professional contacts; contacts who can help you win your first job and progress through your career. If you combine our industry connections and your Hilton College degree with work experience, then you are already on your way to a successful hospitality career. To that end, Stephanie Witowski, our internship coordinator, is here to help you find the perfect internship. Mary Douglas, our director of Placement Services, puts on career fairs twice a year that are designed to help you find full-time and part-time jobs, as well as internships. With an average of 50 companies in attendance, her efforts guarantee a number of opportunities for our undergraduates. It's worth your time to attend.
