Centers and Institutes at the Conrad N. Hilton College

Two national research and information centers, two university institutes and a center of excellence office at the Conrad N. Hilton College. Each provides a direct link between academia and industry, research and real world applications, and Hilton students enjoy research and networking opportunities as varied as the organizations listed below.

Our National Centers

American Hotel and Lodging Association (AH&LA) Information Center
Representing more than 10,000 members, the AH&LA is the voice of the lodging industry on Capitol Hill. AH&LA provides advocacy, education, marketing and, through the Information Center at the Hilton College, full-service research capabilities.

Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals Research Institute (HFTP)
HFTP, the professional association for financial and technology personnel working in hotels, resorts, clubs, casinos, restaurants and other hospitality-related businesses, offers research services to its 4,500 members through the institute at the Hilton College.

Our University Institutes

Hospitality Industry Diversity Institute (HIDI)
Operating under the theme "Quality through Diversity," HIDI conducts diversity related research studies for the hospitality industry that are directly applicable to its opportunities and challenges.

Wine & Spirits Management Institute (W&SMI)
The W&SMI identifies, recruits and educates candidates for management positions in commercial beverage management. The institute is a collaborative effort between the Hilton College and leaders in the alcohol beverage industry.

Gaming Education and Research Institute (GERI)
GERI provides gaming research facilities to the international community, conducts research studies related to public policy, explores the ramifications of gaming and offers executive development for gaming management.
