Barron’s Restaurant

Barron's will be open with a summer menu and special discounted prices from June 10 - 28, and again from July 15 - August 2.

If you're looking to kick your fast-food habit and enjoy a real meal and a great deal, then check out Barron's Restaurant. Barron's now features a bistro-inspired menu sure to please a variety of pallets.

At Barron's, you can relax in our casual dining area and enjoy everything from traditional favorites, like burgers and pizza, to more trendy and upscale options, like pesto chicken pasta salad and our Cuban panini. If you're just in the mood for a lite bite or want something to kick-start your appetite, Barron's also offers tantalizing appetizers, like potato croquettes and Caprese salad. Diners with a serious sweet tooth can dig into delicious desserts like our homemade southern cheesecake and salted caramel brownie. So the next time you're thinking of waiting in line for another boring burger in a bag, give Barron's a try instead. Many of our menu items are made from scratch, and they're always prepared and served by Hilton College students.

Barron's isn't just a great place to meet friends for tasty food—it also gives our students a unique opportunity to learn the ropes of running a restaurant during the hectic lunchtime crunch. Barron's—named after Barron Hilton, son of Conrad N. Hilton—is managed entirely by Hilton College students, who plan, cook, serve and run every aspect of the restaurant. Students from the College's Food and Beverage Service class staff the restaurant, and students from the Advanced Food and Beverage Management class manage the operation. This management experience is part of our capstone course—the final step before graduating and pursuing a career in the hospitality industry. All gratuities go toward equipment and supplies for our student-run Barron's kitchen.

Barron's, located on the first floor of the College's South Wing next to Cougar Grounds, is open from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday during the fall and spring semesters. This summer, for the first time, Barron's will be open during the summer semesters. No reservations are necessary. Because this restaurant is a student lab, serving hours cannot be extended.
