More than 30 years of college teaching experience; 10 years of casino-industry management experience in Las Vegas and Atlantic City; developed and taught courses in casino management worldwide; worked with and trained national and international governmental casino regulatory and law-enforcement agencies; visiting professor at the Université d’Angers in France since 2003; initiated a cooperative program with the National Indian Gaming Association; conducts feasibility studies, operational audits and economic-impact studies on gaming for casino companies, tribal commissions, investment bankers and private investors; frequent keynote speaker and panel moderator at international gaming conferences; travels extensively to promote gaming education worldwide; co-authored popular textbook on lodging management; contributed chapters to books on gaming and co-authored papers on topics such as customer behavior and casino finance; recipient of several teaching and service awards from Hilton College.
