| Mastering your career potential. Whether you have a background in hospitality management or are hoping to reinvent yourself in a new career, our Graduate Program is the perfect place to acquire more in-depth industry knowledge, research skills and focused experience in a specialty of your choice. Our graduate students come from every corner of the world and represent a diverse array of academic and work experiences. Some studied hotel and restaurant management as undergraduates. Others are experienced professionals in the hospitality industry. Others come from diverse academic backgrounds. But the one thing that all of our graduate students seem to have in common is a desire to work with people and to use their analytical thinking skills in a rewarding new career. Our master's program will give you a competitive advantage in the marketplace and includes core courses in business, management and research. Support courses in topics such as hospitality marketing and food & beverage management, focus courses on subjects such as casino management and revenue management and a variety of electives round out the degree. Our program requires completion of a minimum of 36 semester credit hours of graduate coursework and either a thesis or a professional paper, excluding prerequisites or deficiency courses. We also offer a three-year joint master's program, in which students can earn an MS from Hilton College and an MBA from the University's Bauer College of Business concurrently. Students with the equivalent of a U.S. four-year bachelor's degree in any discipline are eligible to apply. Whatever your ultimate goal and whatever experience you have, a Master of Science in Hospitality Management from Hilton College—one of the world's leaders in hospitality education—will give you a depth of knowledge that equips you to lead, excel and increase your earning potential in the highly competitive hospitality industry.
